there’s an overlap.

in words and textures

of thought and

                              I feel lost.

there are sentences that never end,

wrapping up thoughts from phrases I

somehow, somewhere, forgot to begin.

 and the text becomes warped.

manipulated.

 swivets casting shadows onto a mind that

used to work -

maybe.

there’s a tension between

what was said

and what needs to be said

and maybe what we’ve always wanted to say

but I’ve overshadowed that

with a promise of silence

from tied tongues and the

discombobulated misfires within

but somehow the swivet builds

and swirls inside me

wrapping itself around necessary

words

whispering

against you

                  , awakened.
